Art. 10. À Câmara de Conciliação Agrária compete:
I - atuar junto aos representantes do Poder Judiciário, do Ministério Público e de outros órgãos e entidades federais relacionados com o tema, com o propósito de resolver tensões e conflitos sociais no campo;
II - articular-se com os Governos estaduais e municipais, com movimentos sociais rurais, com produtores rurais e com a sociedade civil para prevenir, mediar e contribuir para a resolução dos conflitos agrários;
III - diagnosticar conflitos sociais no campo de forma a propor soluções pacíficas; e
IV - recomendar medidas necessárias para garantir a preservação dos direitos humanos e sociais dos envolvidos em tensões e conflitos sociais no campo.
