Artigo 2
I - assessorar o Presidente da República na formulação de políticas e diretrizes destinadas ao desenvolvimento econômico social sustentável e elaborar indicações normativas, propostas políticas e acordos de procedimento;
II - apreciar propostas de políticas públicas, de reformas estruturais e de desenvolvimento econômico social sustentável que lhe sejam submetidas pelo Presidente da República, com vistas à articulação das relações do Governo federal com os representantes da sociedade civil e ao diálogo entre os diversos setores nele representados; e
III - articular e mobilizar agentes dos setores econômicos e da sociedade civil para o engajamento em projetos e ações relacionados com o desenvolvimento econômico social sustentável.
