Artigo 45

Art. 45. Ao Departamento de Programas Territoriais Rurais compete:
I - propor e coordenar a execução de planos, programas, projetos, ações e atividades destinados:
a) ao desenvolvimento rural regional, especialmente em áreas críticas ou estratégicas; e
b) ao plano de recuperação de áreas sob condição de desastres naturais ou acidentais;
II - promover ações que visem agregar valor aos produtos e subprodutos das cadeias produtivas agropecuárias, incluída a agroindustrialização e os selos distintivos; e
III - formular propostas e participar de negociações de acordos, tratados, convênios e outros instrumentos congêneres referentes ao desenvolvimento territorial rural em articulação com as demais unidades do Ministério.
